Why should I purchase a used vehicle versus a new one?
When you purchase a new vehicle and drive it off the dealership lot, you’ve made it a used car. Every make of vehicle depreciates at this point – a minimum of about 15% to 17% immediately and then continually throughout the first year. A $100,000 vehicle will normally depreciate 30% by the end of the first year. When you buy a pre-owned car, still under full factory warranty, and some with as few as 7,000 miles, there is very little depreciation. It adds up to the huge savings! Simply put: Let someone else take the big depreciation!
Do you take trade-ins?
Yes! Not only do we sell used cars, but we will also buy yours, regardless of its age, mileage, or condition. Setting up an appointment isn’t necessary, and we’ll appraise your car for free in as little as 15 minutes. We back each appraisal with a written offer that we will honor even if you buy a car from us.
Are the prices listed on Social Media Market different than those listed on your website?
No, they are exactly the same. We use the same inventory feed for our website and our Social Media Market listings.
Do you have owner’s manuals, keys and floor mats on every vehicle?
We have the original owner’s manuals, keys and floor mats for most of our vehicles. Please refer to the pictures in the vehicle’s listing to see exactly what items come with the vehicle.
This car is still under factory warranty; why should I buy an extended service contract now?
Service contracts are similar to life insurance in that the young ones, with the least amount of miles, are eligible for the best coverage for less cost. As the vehicle gets older and has more miles, not only will the coverage available change but the cost is also higher. The extended service plan is transferable, if you sell your vehicle of you can receive a prorated refund if you trade the vehicle in. Many people always have the good intention to purchase the extended service plan later but they get busy with their daily lives and simply forget, until that day when something stops working properly and then it’s too late. You can take advantage of financing it in with your vehicle at the time of purchase making extremely more affordable.
Does Start-Car, inspect their vehicles before they sell them?
Yes, we inspect our vehicles when they arrive at the dealership. However, we recommend you take any car out of warranty on a pre-buy inspection before you purchase.
Does Start-Car change the oil on their vehicles?
If the vehicles needs an oil change, yes, we will change the oil. We suggest starting your own service records once you have purchased the vehicle.
I have the ability to pay cash… why should I finance?
Vehicles are typically a depreciating asset and it is usually wise to finance items that will depreciate and invest you “hard earned cash” into something that will appreciate. Many of our banks and credit unions offer very low interest rates that make you able to earn more interest than you pay on the financing of the vehicle so you can actually make a profit by financing. It is a great way to “force” you to save the amount of your monthly payment each month. Our finance department will assist you in placing your loan and making it a very simple and effortless process.
Do you do in-house financing (buy here, pay here)?
No, but we do work with several banks and lenders. You can fill out the credit application on our website and our financing department will be in touch with you regarding financial options.

What is a CarFax?
CarFax is one of a number of organizations that provide drivers and auto dealers with detailed vehicle history reports. Can you ship overseas?
If you need international shipping, we will gladly connect you with a company that handles these transactions. We will deliver vehicles to a dock at which point the customer will work with a shipping company to handle the shipment of the vehicle overseas themselves.
Is my deposit refundable?
No. If you get here and we have misrepresented the car we will gladly refund you or you can transfer your deposit to another vehicle.
What is your dealer fee?
The Start-Car, dealer fee is $799.
